A map reveals where the dinos are hiding in Jurassic World 3

Director Colin Trevorrow teases the essence of this new opus: dinosaurs are now everywhere on Earth (or almost).

Jurassic World 3the sixth film in the franchise Jurassic Parkwill start from a premise that is exciting to say the least: after the events of Fallen Kingdom, dinos are now free in the 21st Century, all over the planet. Director and co-writer Colin Trevorrow posted an infographic on Twitter that helps tease this promising premise.

This is a map that lists the places where dinosaurs have been”observed in North America“. We notice that the easternmost regions of the United States are spared. Only the West of the country is prey to the creatures of Jurassic World. The highest concentration is on the west coast, especially on the California side. If you live in Oregon, you’re likely to come across a T-Rex… Wyoming residents can spot Apatosaurus, while Galliminus and Pteranodons have already begun to conquer the Great Plains regions. Moreover, off Alaska, in the Bering Sea, one or two Mosasaurus are sometimes found, this terrible aquatic dinosaur of Jurassic World !

Sure, Jurassic World Dominion will explore the consequences and dangers of releasing all these dinosaurs into the modern ecosystem.

This time, Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum will be reunited against the new faces of the franchise, namely Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy Daniella Pineda, Justice Smith, and BD Wong. Jurassic World: The World After will be released on June 8, 2022 in France.
