Guests are invited: Benoît Poelvoorde, Gérard Depardieu, François Damiens, Isabelle Nanty, Léa Drucker …

“How beautiful a man at the table, a man facing the pot au feu”, story Edouard Baer in the new trailer for his upcoming feature film Goodbye Paris. After a first teaser presenting the actors of the film, the director becomes the voice-over of the first official trailer presenting the intrigue of this very cinematic social dinner:

This will revolve around a dinner organized with friends in an old Parisian bistro with eternal charm. Eight gentlemen at the table, eight great figures. They were the “kings of Paris”… National treasures, masterpieces in peril. A well-honed ritual … A sense of humor and self-deprecation intact. Tenderness and cruelty. Eight old friends who hate and love each other. And suddenly an intruder …

Played by a cast filled with French cinema freaks, such as Benoît Poelvoorde, François Damiens, Pierre Arditi, Isabelle Nanty, Gérard Depardieu, Léa Drucker, Bernard Le Coq, Bernard Murat, Daniel Prévost and Jean-Francois Stevenin, Goodbye Paris is presented as an Edouard Baer-esque fable, dated for January 26th At the movie theater.
