Taken from the web series by François Descraques, it will be released in cinemas on September 7.
The visitor from the future – the movie be there soon. Still made by Francois Descraques, the rest of season 4 is coming… on the big screen! Produced by Pyramide Productions, the last arc left us in a neo-Versailles with the tyrannical Queen Clothilde IV. On the poster, we find in the background a Paris on fire, with the silhouette of the main character – the visitor – always interpreted by Florent Dorin.
For the movie, it’s Alice (Enya Baroux) that we will mainly follow, a young girl who opposes her father’s deputy who wants to build a nuclear power plant. This is where the visitor comes in, taking them to a Paris of 2555, completely devastated by the explosion of this same power station! The simplest solution to avoid this catastrophe: kill Alice’s father. Hunted by the police of the future who want to prevent them from altering the past, Alice finds herself on an (almost) impossible mission to save her father and the world.
The web series The Visitor from the Future will become a film
During a interview for Allocinated, Francois Descraques explained: “The hardest part for me was finding the right story that allowed the concept to justify its presence on the big screen. I didn’t want to do a “season 5” for the cinema. […] In the mythology of the series, the film is set 8 years after the events of season 4 and also after the events of the novel The pack and manga The Temporal Brigade which were already a follow-up to season 4.”
In the casting, we will find Raphael Descraques, Ludovik, Slimane-Baptiste Berhoun, Mathieu Poggi and Simon Astierto which are added Arnaud Ducret and Enya Baroux. Initially scheduled for October 12, 2022, The visitor from the future will be released earlier than expected, on September 7th. Fans will be able to see it at the cinema at the start of the school year:
