Good news for fans of Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) and her girlfriends, And Just Like That… season 2 will take place. The heroine will therefore be able to continue her podcast (entitled Sex & the City !), as well as his romantic relationship with Franklin (Ivan Hernandez). Its showrunner, Michael Patrick King, details at variety : “We did something difficult with this first season: take something familiar and turn it around and offer something new. For better or for worse. I’m excited to be able to tell more stories about these vibrant characters, who are all played by amazing and powerful comedians. The thing is, we can’t wait to get started. And just like that… (And Just like That…) our sex life resumes.”
Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis will therefore return once again in the skin of Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte. All three are also co-executive producers of the show derived from the cult series by Darren Star, broadcast between 1998 and 2004 on HBO, thus participating fully in its creation. No filming or broadcast date for the moment, but now that this season 2 is official, we should know more soon.
