Boba Fett’s Book: what are the differences between Jango Fett and his “son”?

Boba and jango fett

“Boba lost his father at a young age. In fact, I think he’s a bit more bitter and has a sort of violence latent in him.”

If you have followed well Star wars, you already know that Boba is not quite Jango’s son. He is actually a “unique” clone, expressly requested by the bounty hunter who served as the base for the soldiers of the Empire. Boba Fett is therefore a clone of Jango Fett, too, but with a free spirit, free will and personality.

Thus, he is not the same as the one who raised him as his child. In a recent interview with Comic, the actor Temuera Morrison – who has played the two characters in the franchise since the prelogy – comes back to the differences between the two warriors:

“The thing is, Boba lost his father at a young age. In fact, I think he’s a bit more bitter and has a sort of latent violence in him, a desire for revenge,” comments the star of Book by Boba Fett, in reference to this scene in episode II, when Mace Windu brutally kills Jano by beheading him.

Who is the black Wookiee from episode 2 of the Book of Boba Fett?

“He’s very angry with people like Mace Windu. He takes inspiration from the respect his father commanded. After that he had to survive on his own, more than him. Obviously he was alone for a number of years. years. Then he had that experience in this new tribe, the Tuskens, and it opened up new perspectives for him. So this series offers us to explore a lot of that void that we don’t know … “

And Temuera Morrison to conclude : “I feel better in Boba. I was never really sure of myself in Jango Fett … but at the same time I was having so much fun. It was the year 2000, in Sydney … “

The Book of Boba Fett will continue to be written on Disney + on Wednesday.
