Bullet Train: Lady Gaga will finally not face Brad Pitt

Sandra Bullock replaces the actress, initially announced, then retained on the set of Gucci.

Last November, we learned that Lady Gaga would join Bullet train, an action film mainly worn by Brad Pitt, which is inspired by a Japanese book, Maria’s Beetle, where assassins clash on a train. We have since learned that the actor ofOnce Upon a Time … in Hollywood, was going to perform his own stunts, supported by director David Leitch, who had directed the action scenes of Fight Club, and that he would notably face Joey King, Zazie Beetz, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Logan Lerman, Michael Shannon, Brian Tyree Henry, Masi Oka or Sandra Bullock. Collider now reveals that the latter, announced to the casting in February, in fact replaces Lady Gaga, who could not keep her commitment on this project because of the filming of House of Gucci, by Ridley Scott, who started at the start of the year in Italy. She plays in this film Patrizia Reggiani, accused in the mid-1990s of having ordered the murder of her husband Maurizio Gucci, who ran the luxury business of the same name and is played by Adam Driver in the film. This biopic is scheduled for November in theaters (only one month after The Last Duel, the medieval film by the same director), and Bullet train by April 2022.
