Bullit and Ripper are back in service: Kad Merad and Olivier Baroux have confirmed that a series following their two previous films was in the works.

In an interview given to Parisian as part of the promotion of the film A triumph in which Kad Merad takes the leading role, the actor confided in preparing, with his sidekick Olivier Baroux, a series of their film But who killed Pamela Rose?, released in 2003. “We are writing it”, announced Merad, teasant the return of the most wacky FBI agents in French cinema. The parody film But who killed Pamela Rose?, taken from the duo’s successful sketches on Oui FM then Comedy !, starred agents Bullit and Ripper, determined to find the murderer of the beautiful Pamela Rose, a stripper found dead in her Bornsville hotel room. After the unsuccessful sequel But who killed Pamela Rose again ?, distributed in 2012 and taking place in the ranking of the 15 least profitable French films of the year, Kad and Olivier had finally launched in 2020, during confinement, an audio film entitled Bullit and Ripper, recounting the adventures of the two agents after their famous investigation of Pamela Rose. It was already Canal + which had broadcast it.
