If the selection of 74th Cannes Film Festival was unveiled last month, there were still a few movies to be announced. In particular the list of classics which will be offered – free of charge – to the public as part of the Cinéma de la Plage, organized every day of the open-air festival, at 9.30 p.m. in front of the Majestic hotel.
This year, the organizers plan to celebrate 50 years of Godfatherthe 40 ofET The Extra-Terrestrialbut also to show the restored version of the pact of wolves, in the presence of director Christophe Gans and actor Samuel Le Bihan, before its cinema release on June 10. A Karaoke evening is also planned as part of a tribute to the singer of“Aline”, Christopherjust like a broadcast of Spinal Tap, the cult musical film by Rob Reiner, who will be present to present it to the public.
