Peaky Blinders: the final film will not shoot until 2023
Based on the American book Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer, by Kai Bird and the late Martin J. Sherwin, Pulitzer Prize winner, Oppenheimer will be written and directed by Christopher Nolan.
American theoretical physicist and professor of physics, J. Robert Oppenheimer became the head of the Los Alamos Laboratory during World War II. He is thus known as being “the father of the atomic bomb” for his role in the Manhattan Project. Oppenheimer is also infamous for saying this phrase: “Now I have become death, the destroyer of worlds“, quoting the Hindu text Bhagavad Gita after the successful detonation of the first atomic bomb on July 16, 1945.
Oppenheimer will begin production in early 2022 and would be shot on a combination of 65mm and 65mm IMAX wide format film.
