Dinosaurs are the undisputed stars of Ice Age 3 [critique]

Sid, Manny, Diego and the others return tonight on W9.

Channel 9 continues its cycle The Ice Age by offering n°3 at 9 p.m. When it was released in 2009, the feature film by Carlos Saldanha and Michael Thurmeier had enough to anger history teachers by bringing together dinosaurs and mammoths. The animated film was however adored by children … and the older ones. As in the writing of Firstwho had laughed a lot in front of these adventures of Manny, Sid, Diego and the others.

Ice Age: A Lazy Animated Movie?

Here is our review: “In the cinema, the law of the series is ruthless. There is thus a strange curse hanging over the third installment of the sagas. To make a success of his Ice Age 3, Carlos Saldanha therefore took his precautions. First, he gathered the pack of first two episodes in full and has taken up the same recipe: interspecies friendship, gags and jokes, initiatory quest at all levels. But that’s not all. The bonus here lies in the technical improvements (switch to 3D in the lead) and the guests. Dinosaurs are indeed the undisputed stars of this third opus. Paleontologists will cry foul (T-Rex neighbors with ankylosaurs? Velociraptors who pal with diplodocus? The chain of evolution is turned upside down!), but we must admit that, thanks to them, the film moved. Faced with the poetry of Pixar or the schoolboy humor of DreamWorks, Blue Sky offers a truly family cinema that reappropriates one of the great themes of American cinema: the fo yer and his place within the group.”
