With LaKeith Stanfield from Sorry to Bother you as a widower who no longer wants to believe in the supernatural.
After Jungle Cruise, the Disneyland park continues to adapt to the cinema. Disney announces that The Haunted Mansionworn by LaKeith Stanfield of Sorry to Bother youand also starring Owen Wilson, Rosario Dawson, Danny DeVito and Tiffany Haddish, will be released in US theaters on March 10, 2023 (the French date could be set for March 8).
Directed by Justin Simien (Dear White People), this mystical feature film will follow a widower who once believed in the supernatural but is now a rather lifeless tour guide in the French Quarter of New Orleans. Haddish will play a medium hired to commune with the dead.
A must-see attraction at Disney parks, The Haunted Mansion had been brought to the screen for the first time in 2003 with Eddie Murphy, without much success, under the title The Haunted Mansion and the 999 Ghosts.
