Doctor Who: Season 14 begins filming

The honor of the announcement went, of course, to Russell T Davies.

We haven’t said goodbye to Jodie Whittaker yet, but Doctor Who is already preparing the succession. Russell T Davies announces today on Instagram the start of production on season 14 of Doctor Who. The one to whom we owe the revival of the cult series in 2005 and who has since signed masterpieces like Years and Years and Iyou’s a ifn, will take over the reins of Doctor Who as showrunner. Honor where honor is due, so he shared this photo of Bad Wolf Studios in Cardiff, the new filming location for the series.

It should be noted that this season 14 of Doctor Who is for 2023. Indeed, in 2022, Chris Chibnall ends his journey with Jodie Whittaker, through three major special episodes (already shot). The first has already aired on January 1. The second will arrive in the spring. And the last at the end of the year. It remains to be seen who will be the 14th Doctor at the center of season 14 of Doctor Who
