Being James Bond will look back on his time in the 007 costume.
Repeatedly postponed, first because of the departure of Danny Boyle and then the health crisis, To die can wait will finally arrive at the cinema. In France, it will be for October 6, two years after the initial release date of the 25th James Bond film. An interminable wait for the public, and Daniel Craig who is about to bow out: this is the last time we will see him in the costume of 007, whose next tenant does not yet know.
But it is not yet time to take out the handkerchiefs. Bond has one last film to sell, and to give us a reminder here is unveiled an ultimate trailer summarizing all the issues of the feature film. On the menu: enemies, old (Blofeld) or new (Lyutsifer Safin, played by Rami Malek), James Bond Girls (Léa Seydoux, Ana de Arnas), action and a “new 007” played by Lashana Lynch who took over while our beloved spy went green.
A page will turn for the franchise acquired by Amazon Studios, and to mark the occasion fans will be entitled to a documentary dedicated to Daniel Craig, entitled Being James Bond, a character that he will therefore have embodied five times in the cinema over a period of 15 years. A teaser has been unveiled for this 45-minute retrospective which will be seen on September 7 on Apple TV.
