Everything Everywhere All at Once: Michelle Yeoh Dives into the Multiverse (Trailer)

An A24 film produced by the Russo brothers!

While Marvel is fully exploiting the vein (with Spider-Man: No Way Home, which has just been released in theaters, and soon Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness), the next exit of A24, Everything Everywhere All at Once, reminds us that parallel worlds stories aren’t just for blockbusters. And that’s good.

Produced by the Russo Brothers (the reals of Winter Soldier, Civil War, Infinity War and Endgame), it is a pure science fiction film, a genre not very present in the filmography of the famous independent distributor (Uncut Gems, Midsommar, Lady Bird, Moonlight…). It stars Michelle Yeoh (Tiger and Dagron) as an American of Chinese descent who finds herself propelled into the multiverse as she deals with a tax filing affair. She’ll have to face a big bad guy to avoid chaos. Fortunately, she can borrow abilities from her multiple versions, including mastery of kung fu.

Between action and comedy, Everything Everywhere All at Once is signed by the duo Daniels (Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert), to whom we owe Swiss Army Man (the movie where Daniel Radcliffe played a flatulating corpse) or the hallucinatory music video for “Turn Down for What” by DJ Snake. We will meet Jonathan Ke Quan (Data from Goonies), Stephanie Hsu, Ke Huy Quan, Jenny Slate, Harry Shum Jr. or James Hong. The film does not yet have a release date in France, and we hope that it will not skip the cinema box with us, as The Green Knight, another A24 production which will be visible in January on Prime Video.
