We have seen it grow, over the 8 seasons of Game Of Thrones, Drogon, Rhaegal and Viserion. In House of the Dragonwe will meet new fire-breathing creatures.
And finally, a new dragon reveals its scales and piercing eyes in an original poster of the future series.
This is Syrax, the dragon of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen (played by Emma D’Arcy) that we discover in front of the animal in this photo. At first glance, Syrax does not look comfortable. Above all, it looks gigantic. Bigger, more massive and more impressive than Danny’s beasties…

Adapted from the novel Fire & Blood of Georges RR Martin, the action of House of the Dragon will take place 200 years before the events of Game Of Thrones and will tell the story of the mythical House Targaryen. Ryan Condal will serve as showrunner.
