First Pictures of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Netflix Remake

Leatherface is back!

Texas Chainsaw Massacre is one of the greatest classics of horror cinema and Netflix will try to bring it into the 21st century. The platform shot a direct sequel to the 1974 classic, directed at the time by Tobe Hooper. Today we discover the first images of this Leatherface return in this remake of Chainsaw Massacre, directed by David Blue Garcia (Tejano) from a screenplay written by Chris Thomas Devlin (Cobweb), based on a story by Fede Alvarez and Rodo Sayagues. Release expected on February 18 on Netflix.

In these photos, we recognize the silhouette of the killer of Chainsaw Massacre facing new characters, played by Elsie Fisher, Sarah Yarkin, Nell Hudson and Jacob Latimore.

In a recent interview with EW, producer Fede Alvarez explains that this psychopath “is basically the same character, who is still alive. It is assumed that he probably disappeared after everything he did. How do you catch a guy with a mask on? Once he takes off the mask and runs away, it is very easy for him to hide somewhere. Our history will therefore resume many years later … “
