He doesn’t care about the human beings on board, and that’s what Dan O’Bannon and Ron Shusett have broadcast in Alien. Gradually, I began to be fascinated by the logic of AI capabilities and certainties. It’s now definitely there, and in fact, it’s probably been there for 10 years. blade runner was the best way for me to talk about this artificial intelligence. She is not present in the book at all: Hampton Fancher and I fully integrated it as the script progressed. And so I think Roy Batty (Rutger Hauer) did a completely different take on the idea we had of androids. And someone coined the phrase “more human than man”which is found in the big idea ofAaron Guzikowski with Raised by Wolves. »
