Better than Boss Baby 2 and Watch out! (Source: Le Film Français)
Only three new features are included in the French weekly ranking: North Bac, Boss Baby 2 and Be careful at the start!. Cédric Jimenez’s thriller takes the lead with 483,381 tickets sold in 585 theaters, which is almost as good as The French, from the same director, in 2014, who had sold 521,000 tickets in the first week. The rest of the animated film follows him thanks to 362,162 spectators gathered in front of 602 screens, where Baby boss had gathered more than a million curious at the start, and the comedy with André Dussollier and Jérôme Commandeur is seventh, thanks to 102,498 tickets sold in 407 cinemas.

Among the continuities, it is Paw Patrol which is doing the best with 332,000 additional admissions, or nearly 800,000 in a fortnight. OSS 117 3 and Kaamelott complete the top 5, accumulating respectively 1.2 and 2.3 million spectators in three and five weeks. Alexandre Astier’s film is also the most widely distributed at the moment with 793 screens. Free Guy is the only film from the second part of the top 10 to pass 100,000 admissions, Pil, what is grandpa ?! and Jungle Cruise gaining around 90,000 more spectators.
