The French box office is doing well, in particular thanks to the reduced rates set up from Sunday March 20 to Tuesday March 22 as part of the Printemps du Cinéma, which allowed the films on the screen to maintain their attendance (The Batman, Retirement home and Building permit), or even gain: +24% for Unchartedwhich thus remains in the top 5, and +29% for Despite himself superheroes, still in the rankings in week seven. All of these films exceeded 100,000 admissions, except the comedy by Philippe Lacheau, which completed the top 10 with 78,544 additional spectators, or 1.7 million.

In details, The Batman wins 607,350 additional spectators, i.e. 2,408,082 moved to 903 cinemas in three weeks. The adventure film starring Tom Holland did almost as well as the one starring Robert Pattinson, reaching 2,263,536 tickets sold in five weeks, including 248,000 admissions recorded since last Wednesday. Released at the same time as him, the comedy Retirement home cumulates 1.8 million admissions and closes the top 5. In second and third places start the film by Jean-Jacques Annaud retracing the impressive fire of the Parisian cathedral, and the prequel to the successful Japanese anime. Notre Dame is burning and Jujutsu Kaisen 0 attracted 388,293 and 347,583 viewers respectively in 752 and 395 rooms, which gave the latter the highest average of the week: 880 spectators per screen. Further down the top, French films Then we dance and Full timepreceded by good reviews, sold 167,617 and 100,254 tickets in 440 and 199 cinemas.
