Good news, Severance renewed for season 2 on Apple TV+

“It was always planned that it would be a series spread over several seasons,” says Ben Stiller.

Will we finally know what is going on at Lumon? While the season 1 finale of Severance will premiere this week on Apple TV+, the streaming platform today announced it has ordered a Season 2. The bizarre corporate drama spun from creator and screenwriter Dan Erickson, produced and directed by Ben Stiller (and Aoife McArdle) is therefore not going to stop there, leaving us totally frustrated…

“It’s really exciting to see people’s response to this series. The level of engagement it generates!” rejoices Ben Stiller. “It’s been a long road to carry Severance on the screen. I first read Dan’s pilot over five years ago. It was always intended to be a multi-season series, so I’m really happy that we can continue. Glory to Keir!”

And Apple to confirm: “We’re excited to delve deeper into this very unique world and unpack more layers of Lumon in Season 2.”

In the casting, we should find Patricia Arquette, Adam Scott, John Turturro, Britt Lower, Zach Cherry, Dichen Lachman, Jen Tullock, Tramell Tillman, Michael Chernus and possibly Christopher Walken.
