Gruesome new footage for Resident Evil: welcome to Raccoon City

Another trailer that puts its finger on the horror.

The new movie resident Evil has already had its share of trailers, here is a new trailer for Raccoon City, posted yesterday, which highlights a different aspect: horror! While the previous videos had mainly focused on showing how this new adaptation will be faithful to video games, this trailer reminds us that resident Evil, it is also a scary universe. And Raccoon City don’t skimp on terror!

The official pitch: “Located in 1998, resident Evil finally reveals the secrets of the Spencer mansion and the city that was once the thriving headquarters of the pharmaceutical giant Umbrella Corporation. Since the departure of the all-powerful company, Raccoon City has sunk to ruin, and a terrible threat lurks deep within its bowels. When evil awakens with horror, a small group of survivors will join forces to try to uncover the truth about Umbrella, hoping to see the end of the night … “

Resident Evil: Welcome to Racoon City, directed by Johannes Roberts, will be released in cinemas on November 24. In the casting, we will find Kaya Scodelario (The labyrinth) will play Claire Redfield; Avan Jogia (Zombieland 2) will be Leon S. Kennedy. Hannah John-Kamen (Ant-Man and the Wasp) will reprise the role of Jill Valentine opposite Robbie Amell (Upload) as Chris Redfield. Tom Hopper (Black sails) will be Captain Albert Wesker. Neal McDonough (DC’s Legends of Tomorrow) will be the virologist and mad scientist William Birkin. Finally, Donald Logue will play Brian Irons, the rogue police chief of Raccoon City.
