How I Became a Superhero: The New Netflix Trailer

Douglas Attal’s film with Pio Marmaï, Vimala Pons, Benoît Poelvoorde and Leïla Bekhti will be released on July 9 on the platform.

It should have been one of the French blockbusters at the cinema in 2020. Repelled several times by the pandemic, How I became a superhero will finally be offered on Netflix in France to subscribers. It is on July 9 that the feature film directed by Douglas Attal will be put online, and the streaming platform is unveiling a new trailer for the occasion:

Who are the superheroes? In a world where humans and superheroes coexist, a lone cop and his brilliant colleague join forces to dismantle a dark traffic in superpowers.

In the cast, we will find Pio Marmaï, Vimala Pons, Benoît Poelvoorde, Leïla Bekhti, and Swann Arlaud.

The story takes place in the Paris of 2020 where supermen have become commonplace and integrate perfectly into society. Two police lieutenants, Moreau (Pio Marmaï) and Schaltzmann (Vimala Pons), investigate a drug that gives powers to those who don’t. To dismantle the network, they will call on two superheroes who have joined forces: Monte Carlo and Callista (Benoît Poelvoorde and Leïla Bekhti).
