The Suicide Squad actor joins Jim Carrey, James Marsden and Ben Schwartz.
Following to the success of Sonic, the movie, Paramount quickly started a number 2, which will still be directed by Jeff Fowler and is due in theaters in the spring of 2022. Idris elba just revealed on his Twitter account that he will join the cast as Knuckles, one of Sega’s most famous video game characters. Like Ben Schwartz, who doubles Sonic, he would have to lend his voice to the little red antihero, replacing another comedian whose name was running for the role: Jason Momoa. Jim Carrey and James Marsden must return in the flesh to find the costumes of Dr. Robotnik and Tom respectively.
