James Bond at the French box office: 007 has always been a hit

From Dr No to Specter, all James Bond episodes have worked in France.

After several postponements, To die can wait is finally coming out in theaters this week. Will it do as well as the last films worn by Daniel Craig, which attracted between 3.7 million spectators in France (Quantum of Solace, in 2008) and 6.9 (Sky Fall, in 2012) ? In 2015, the last opus 007 Specter broke the record for the best first day by attracting 900,000 curious in the theaters. It is quite simply the best start ever with us!

A feat for James Bond, who has been a hit since 1963 in our dark rooms. Of the 25 films released so far – we count Never again never, the unofficial episode with Sean connery released in 1983 – only 2 feature films did not reach 2 million admissions: For Her majesty, worn by George lazenby, and Killing is not playing with Timothy dalton.
