Jamie Lee Curtis says goodbye to Michael Myers: the filming of Halloween Ends is finished

It is almost half a century of her life and career that she leaves behind. Jamie Lee Curtis just wrapped filming for the latest installment in the Halloween horror franchise, the aptly named Halloween Ends. And she posted a touching message on Instagram to share some behind-the-scenes photos and her nostalgia, when saying goodbye to Laurie Strode, a character she has played since 1978 and the very first part by John Carpenter. She thus confirms that she is done with the saga and the emblematic survivor.

Halloween Ends will be released in theaters on October 14, 2022 and will once again be directed by David Gordon Green. In front of Jamie Lee Curtiswe will find Andi Matichak in the skin of Allyson Nelson, Kyle Richards in Lindsey Wallace and Will Patton in assistant Frank Hawkins.

Set in the year 2022, the story is set to mark a four-year time jump after the events of the first two films and will include real-world events such as the pandemic.
