Doctor Michael Morbius becomes a super bat in an excerpt.
Almost two years after the release of its first official trailer (two more followed), the new Spider-verse movie Morbius is revealed a little more with a first extract presenting the transformation of the main character into a super-villain.
How Morbius connects the MCU and Spider-Man
In this excerpt, we see the character of Michael Morbius, played by Jared leto, first on the verge of death before transforming into a monstrous bat capable of decimating all the guards of an ultra-secure boat upon seeing her friend, played by Adria Arjona, stunned to the ground. A change from human to super caused by an experimental treatment based on bat blood developed by Dr. Morbius himself, suffering from a strange blood disease. Become a super-villain, Morbius the vampire is then torn between the strength given to him by his new form, and his morality.
Realized by Daniel Espinosa, Morbius brings together a cast of choice. In addition to Leto and Arjona, Michael keaton (as the Vulture), Matt Smith, and Jared Harris share the bill. The feature film is dated January 26, 2022. His last trailer was released in early November:
