As at the US box office, the last Jurassic World ignores the bad reviews and seduces the French public for its first week in theaters. With 1,177,577 admissions (almost 1.3 million including previews), The world after quite simply signs the 3rd best start of the year, behind Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (1.43 million) and Top Gun: Maverick (1.52 million). It is however the worst launch in France for a film of the trilogy Jurassic World

Following Top Gun it continues its harvest, with more than 600,000 tickets sold for its 3rd week of operation, bringing its total to 3.2 million. And another novelty joins the top 3: Champagne! by Nicolas Vanier, with Elsa Zylberstein and François-Xavier Demaison, which attracted more than 100,000 spectators. A nice score while French films have been struggling lately.

With 85,000 admissions for its sixth week, Doctor Strange 2 is already at the end of his indoor career. The last episode of the MCU stagnates above 3 million and will end very far from 7.3 million Spider-Man: No Way Home. Finally, Menthe latest Alex Garland, got off to a shy start with just over 37,000 tickets sold, but within the British director’s French standards. Ex Machinahis last film released at the cinema with us, was satisfied with 29,000 admissions for its launch in 2014.
