Kristen Bell Satires Netflix, On Netflix In The Woman Who Lived Opposite: Trailer

A parody of The Woman in the Window, the film with Amy Adams, released on the same platform, a little earlier in the year …

It’s the most unlikely trailer of the week. Netflix has just unveiled the first trailer for a completely offbeat new series, titled The Woman Who Lived Across from the Woman at the Window. Or in original version: The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window

Yes, as the title reveals, it is indeed a form of parody of The woman at the window, Joe Wright’s film worn by Amy Adams and inspired by Window on courtyard by Alfred Hitchock. The story of an agoraphobic shrink, who begins to spy on her neighbors and witnesses a murder.

In The Woman Who Lived Across from the Woman at the Window, the old one Veronica mars, Kristen bell will embody “Anna, a young woman with a broken heart, for whom every day is like the last. Depressed and sitting with her wine, she spends her time in front of the window, watching life go by without her. But when a handsome neighbor (Tom Riley) and his adorable daughter (Samsara Yett) move in across the street, Anna begins to see a light at the end of the tunnel. At least until she witnesses a horrific murder … Or not? “

The trailer presented shows that we are in a second degree form, but not in the big parody farce. Netflix describes its series as a “Dark and satirical wine-soaked comedy, a psychological thriller that will leave you guessing who, what, where, why and no but how seriously ?! Until the end …”

Created by Rachel Ramras, Hugh Davidson and Larry Dor and co-produced by Will Ferrell, The Woman Who Lived Across from the Woman at the Window, consisting of 8 episodes, will be released on January 28 on Netflix.
