Mad Max: Tom Burke replaces Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in Furiosa

The Matrix 4 actor no longer has time to shoot in the Mad Max spin-off.

Deadline announces that Tom burke was hired by George miller for his derivative film of the saga Mad Max, Furiosa. The American site specifies that it actually replaces Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, who had been engaged in October 2020 by the director for an important role in this spin-off dedicated to the heroine played by Charlize Theron in Fury road, in 2015, but who can no longer participate in the blockbuster “because of a calendar problem”.
