Antoine Barraud’s new film is presented in Venice.
After having caused a sensation in Cannes with Benedetta, Virginie efira will also be in the news at the Venice Film Festival, which starts in a few days. Member of the jury of Bong Joon-ho, she will also present Madeleine Collins, the new feature film by Antoine Barraud (The chasms, The Red Back) retained in the section Giornate degli Autori, the equivalent of the Directors’ Fortnight.
The actress plays the main role, that of Judith, a woman who leads a double life between France, where she has a little girl with Abdel (Quim Gutiérrez), and Switzerland, where she the mother of two boys with Melvil (Bruno Salomone). Jacqueline Bisset, Nadav Lapid and Valérie Donzelli complete the cast of this film, which is scheduled for release on December 29, 2021 in France. Trailer :
