Argylle and her cast of stars are currently in Europe for the first shots.

While waiting for the release, one day perhaps, of The King’s Man (currently scheduled for December 22 in France), Matthew vaughn is already hard at work on its next project. Deadline reports that he has just started filming his new spy film which will be called Argylle.

The production takes place in Europe and will be carried by a dream cast, which has just joined Ariana DeBose, star of the Apple series Schmigadoon! and that we will also see in the West Side Story by Steven Spielberg. In Argylle, she will give the reply to Henry cavill, John cena, Sam rockwell, Bryce dallas howard, Bryan cranston, Catherine o’hara, Samuel L. Jackson and even the singer Dua Lipa, who will make an appearance.

“We have assembled an absolutely stellar cast to inhabit each of the wonderfully original and captivating characters on this thrilling adventure.“, rejoices the brilliant filmmaker behind X-Men the beginning Where Kick-Ass. “We are so excited that production is now underway, bringing us one step closer to a theatrical release …”

Based on the upcoming spy novel by author Ellie Conway (due out in 2022), the film’s story will center on the world’s greatest spy, Argylle, as he is taken on an adventure around the world. Marv hopes this installment will be the first of at least three films to set up a big franchise. Like James Bond?
