The stars took to Netflix’s Tudum “event” to talk about this sequel.
We learned in the middle of August that Murder Mystery was going to be entitled to a sequel on Netflix. Which is not a surprise, given the crazy success of the first film, investigative comedy with Jennifer aniston and Adam sandler which drew more than 30 million curious on the platform during its first broadcast weekend, in June 2019. The streaming service took advantage of its Tudum online event, held this weekend, to confirm the news. It was even his two stars who appeared on the screen to present this “new international adventure twists and turns.”
Still written by James Vanderbilt (the screenwriter of the upcoming Scream), this new comedy will no longer be directed by Kyle Newacheck but by Jeremy Garelick, who knows Jennifer Aniston well, since he is the one who wrote Breaking, his 2006 hit film also worn by Vince Vaughn.
