Rachel McAdams mysteriously disappeared from a Doctor Strange 2 teaser

The last TV spot takes a promotional photo of the film, but without the interpreter of Christine. Strange…

Expected May 4 at the cinema, Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness is thoroughly teased by Marvel, which has already unveiled two long trailers of Sam Raimi’s film and which has multiplied since the posting of short TV spots to intrigue the public. The last, called Fate (“Destiny”) takes up an image already seen at the start of the promotion, but without one of the main actresses of the suite: Rachel McAdams. An absence that was quickly noticed by MCU fans. Only Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez) are present, with a void behind the actor, where his “love interests” Christine Palmer.

Why did you cut the heroin during the promotion? Marvel has already done the trick of retouching scenes to promote its films, for example digitally removing key characters fromAvengers: Endgame Where of Spider-Man: No Way Home to limit spoilers on the content of an important scene from the films. But here, it’s different since the public has already seen the image used in the teaser pass: if there was something to spoiler, it was already done at the start of the promotion and the fact of erasing the actress after the fact raises even more questions.
