But also love, betrayal, cosmetic surgery …
A few days after winning the prize for best comedy at the La Rochelle festival, Revenge at the triple gallop is entitled to a first trailer. To parody the “soap opera” such as The Young and the Restless Where Love, glory and beautyé, its creators Alex Lutz and Arthur Sanigou have surrounded themselves with stars, from Leïla Bekhti to Marion Cotillard, including Karin Viard, Izia Higelin, Audrey Lamy, François Civil and Guillaume Gallienne. These are first the ones that are put forward in this funny trailer, which then stops in an exaggerated way on the other promises of this comic TV movie: there will also be “love, betrayal, tears, cosmetic surgery …”
Revenge at the triple gallop includes all the codes of “soap” for fun, from the overplay of the actors to the artificially smoothed image, through a honeyed tone and incredibly convoluted plots. A concept strongly reminiscent of the Canadian series The heart has its reasons, which parodied this type of programs brilliantly. The Canal + team of this new format is also doing very well: First advises you to discover this successful comedy from October 4 on Canal +.
