Russell Crowe plays on Christian Bale’s nerves in 3:10 for Yuma

The New York filmmaker knows as much about superheroes (Logan) than country music (walk the line) or personality disorder (A stolen life), and this remake of the film by Delmer Dave released fifty years earlier with Glenn Ford and Van Heflinand especially adapted from the short story written by Elmore Leonard in 1953, is interesting, without appearing in our top director. Firstwhich gave the film two stars in its review pages, explains its mixed opinion about this remake: “All that remains of the original Delmer Daves film is the frighteningly enormous pitch imagined by Elmore Leonard from one of his short stories. The emotion, on the other hand, is curbed in the television canons aimed at by James Mangold. “Is there anything else here than the will to organize a great face-off of actors? The story tells how an Arizona farmer (Christian Bale) finds himself, along with his 14-year-old son (Logan Lerman), escorting the notorious bandit Ben Wade (Russell Crowe) to a train for money. three days on horseback to Yuma, where he is to be tried.
