The warrior from the Star Wars Rebels animated series will be entitled to a flesh and blood incarnation.
As we wait impatiently The Book of Boba Fett, then Kenobi, before season 3 of The Mandalorian, the universe Star wars of Disney Plus is already preparing its next production. In this case, it will be a series Star Wars: Ahsoka, dedicated to the young Jedi Ahsoka Tano, ex-Padawan of Anakin Skywalker, embodied in season 2 of the Mandalorian by Rosario Dawson.
She will be joined by another figure from the animated spin-offs of the saga: Sabine Wren! Deadline reveals that Natasha Liu Bordizzo (seen on Netflix in The Society) was chosen to play this major role in the Disney + limited series.
Character from the animated series Star Wars Rebels, Sabine Wren, is voiced in her version drawn by Tiya Sircar. She is a young Mandalorian warrior, and also a graffiti artist. She has turned her back on the Imperial Academy and is also a former bounty hunter with extensive knowledge of weapons and explosives. Sabine Wren was with Ahsoka the last time we saw her in the finale of Rebels. The two had gone together in search of Ezra Bridger, who should logically also be in the Disney Plus series, written and produced by Dave Filoni, the creator of Rebels.
Series Ahsoka should begin production in March 2022. Note that Hayden Christensen will be back in the role of Anakin Skywalker … even if the story will unfold, like The Mandalorian, in a world after the fall of the Empire, five years after the events of Return of the Jedi.
