Sonny Chiba’s son will play Seiya in the live action version.
Will the Stark family take power at the Sanctuary? In any case, Sean bean will be well in The Knights of the Zodiac, the live action film currently being prepared by Hollywood.
We discovers the cast of this American adaptation, who will see Mackenyu, son of the late Sonny Chiba, put on the Pegasus armor. The actor seen in Pacific Rim: Uprising put yourself in Seiya’s shoes. Facing him, Madison Iseman (Annabelle) will play Sienna (or Saori), the famous princess, reincarnation of Athena.
In the story of the film, Seiya will be an orphan of the streets who will be caught up in a mystical energy known as Cosmo, which will awaken in him. Seiya will thus undertake a journey to conquer the ancient Greek armor of Pegasus and choose her side in a supernatural battle for the fate of Sienna (Iseman), a young girl who struggles to control her divine power.
It will therefore be an “Origin Story” which will go back to the very roots of the heroes of Knights of the Zodiac, at the time when they left to seek their armor, a perilous adventure which one sees only by flashbacks in the cartoon of the 1980s, adapted from the manga created by Masami Kurumada.
Sean bean will play a mentor named Alman Kiddo, a man who recruits Seiya into the Order of Knights, which he founded when he discovered the reincarnated goddess.
Famke janssen, Nick stahl, Diego Tinoco and Mark Dacascos will also be in the cast of this film that will be directing Tomasz Baginski, Polish special effects specialist who worked on The Witcher notably. The project has been in development for years and suffered several production delays before finally heading to filming this year. Josh Campbell and Matt Stuecken (10 Cloverfield Lane) wrote the scripts. Note that the battles of these Knights of the Zodiac will be staged by martial arts choreographer Andy Cheng, who was the combat coordinator of Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings for Marvel Studios.
