In 2019, Nadia’s Endless Day enchanted Netflix subscribers. Series Russian doll will make its return, three years later. The platform announces that season 2 will be released on April 20. And reveals in passing a first mystical trailer:
The time-loop comedy will always be carried by Natasha Lyonne and we see her wandering in a subway car and in a cemetery. Obviously, the fate will still be on her: “When the universe has fun poking fun at you, let it...” she says in this video.
We know that this season 2 of Russian Doll will take place four years later. Nadia and Alan (Charlie Barnett) both escaped their Season 1 time loops. But they will discover “an fate even worse than an endless death. This season, Nadia and Alan delve deeper into their past through an unexpected time portal set in one of Manhattan’s most notorious locations. At first, they experience this as an ever-expanding intergenerational, era-crossing adventure, but they soon discover that this extraordinary event might be more than they bargained for. Together they must seek a way out.”
