SNL’s vibrant message of support for the Ukrainian people

Saturday Night Live opened its traditional Saturday night show with a beautiful moment of emotion.

The whole world is in shock. Shocked by what has been happening in Ukraine for a few days. And the Saturday Night Live opened its traditional evening show on a very moving dramatic note. To loud applause, Cecily Strong and Kate McKinnon appeared dressed in black, to introduce the Ukrainian choir Dumka from New York.

The whole sang “Prayer for Ukraine“while standing behind a table of candles, writing Kyiv in letters of fire in the New York night. A nice support for Ukraine and its people:
