Spider-Man No Way Home: Sam Raimi marvels at the return of Doctor Octopus

“I think it’s gonna be a great movie”

The director of the first two films Spiderman seems delighted with the return of Doctor Octopus in Spider-Man: No Way Home, which will put Peter Parker at the heart of the multiverse. Still played by Alfred Molina (digitally rejuvenated), Doc Ock should this time make Tom Holland’s Spidey drool.

About the first visual of the character revealed in the trailer for No Way Home, Sam Raimi confides to the site SyFy to have found it ” Magnificent. He looks great, the animation is great (…) I imagine that they are not puppets, because when we did Doc Ock [dans Spider-Man 2], its tentacles were a mixture of puppetry and animation. And I love that they kept the costume. I think it’s gonna be a great movie. At the same time, we would hardly see Sam Raimi spitting on Marvel: he will realize himself Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness, scheduled for March 23, 2022.

Spider-Man: No Way Home should be full of surprises and will be released on December 15 in France. Trailer :
