Star Trek: Discovery season 4 will be available for free streaming in France on Pluto TV

Star Trek Discovery season 4

A linear broadcast in US + 24, every Friday evening, for free …

The anger of the French fans was great, since Star Trek: Discovery has decided to leave the Netflix ship, which has been broadcasting the series in France since its inception. But Michael Burnham has just found a new base in France!

To everyone’s surprise, the free streaming Pluto TV announces this week that it will offer the all-new season 4 of Star Trek: Discovery, on his Pluto TV Sci-Fi channel. The episodes will a priori not be available on demand, but broadcast linearly on Friday evening (then rebroadcast on Saturday and Sunday evening) at 9 pm! Launch of season 4 from this Friday, November 26, with the first two episodes already online in the USA. Then it will be a weekly broadcast at the rate of one episode each week, in US + 24!

Then how Star Trek: Discovery has it moved from Netflix to a free service like Pluto TV? The trick comes from the fact that this site is a branch of the ViacomCBS conglomerate, the one that owns the Paramount + platform, owner of the franchise Star Trek and of Star Trek: Discovery. This subscription streaming platform could eventually arrive in France. But meanwhile…

Note that Paramount will also make this season 4 available for purchase and rental on VOD platforms.
