Florence Pugh is on the verge of suffocation.
After sharing a first photo from his new film Don’t Worry Darling, Olivia wilde unveiled on Instagram the first teaser of the feature film, in which Florence pugh and Harry Styles play the main characters (Gemma Chan, KiKi Layne and Chris Pine complete the cast).
Psychological thriller that tells the story of a 1950s housewife living with her husband in a utopian community lost in the middle of the Californian desert and hiding disturbing secrets, Don’t Worry Darling is an ambitious and long-awaited achievement, for which the brand new trailer sets the tone. Recalling his role in Midsommar Ari Aster, the heroine played by Florence Pugh is initially calm on a deckchair, before being on the verge of asphyxiation, stuck in plastic film. A rage hidden beneath the surface, at first glance, inhabits the characters of this upcoming film.
And while a release date was missing last March, at the time of the first revelations concerning the feature, Olivia Wilde lifts the veil and announces that Don’t Worry Darling will be available in cinemas from September 23, 2022.
