Philippe Lacheau’s new comedy will be screened at the opening of the 25th edition, taking place from January 17 to 23, 2022 in Isère.
For its 25th edition, the international comedy festival of Alpe d’Huez has chosen to open the new feature film by director Philippe Lacheau and his band, Superhero in spite of himself. Co-written with Julien Arruti, Pierre Dudan and Pierre Lacheau, this new film follows a struggling actor apprentice, Cédric, who finally lands his first role in a superhero film. One evening, while borrowing the filming car, he is the victim of an accident which causes him to lose his memory. When he wakes up, dressed in his vigilante costume and surrounded by props from the film, he is convinced that he has become the character of the film with a perilous mission to accomplish. But it is not a hero and even less a superhero who wants … And even less Cédric.
This comedy, carried by Philippe Lacheau in the role of Cédric, accompanied by Elodie Fontan, Tarek Boudali and Julien Arruti, is announced for a theatrical release on February 9, 2022. And if no trailer has yet been published, Lacheau has just unveiled a first teaser of his super hero!
