The Crazy The Lost City trailer starring Sandra Bullock, Channing Tatum, Daniel Radcliffe and Brad Pitt

In the absence of The Lost City of Z, Brad Pitt plays one of the heroes of this adventure film.

Loretta Sage (Sandra bullock), a brilliant but lonely novelist, is known for her books that combine romance and adventure in exotic settings. Alan (Channing tatum), a model, has spent most of her career playing Dash, the advantageous plastic hero featured on the covers of Loretta’s books.

While promoting her new novel with Alan, Loretta finds herself kidnapped by an eccentric billionaire (Daniel radcliffe) who is convinced that she will be able to help him find the treasure of a lost city mentioned in his last work. Determined to prove that he can live up to the hero he portrayed in the books in real life, Alan sets out to the novelist’s rescue.

Thrown on a great adventure in the heart of a hostile jungle, this unlikely duo will have to team up to survive and try to get their hands on the ancient treasure before it disappears forever.

The first trailer for The Lost City, a.k.a The Secret of the Lost City, has just fallen, and it lives up to its delusional pitch: the three actors seem to take great pleasure in playing with their image, just like Brad pitt, who arrives to save the writer in the shoes of a handsome adventurer. “Why are you so handsome?”, asks the heroine. “My father was Mr. Weather”, answers the one who has already embodied such a role the time of sketches. Chaining the stunts, he also plays with his hair as if he were spinning in a L’Oréal commercial.

An idea of casting all the more fun as Brad Pitt was to be the star of another adventure film set in the jungle: The Lost City of Z, by James Gray. Film that he finally co-produced, but whose main role was played by Charlie Hunnam. Seeing him appear in this comedy to parody himself like this is a good surprise. Note that the star will also soon reunite with Sandra Bullock in the action film Bullet train, by David Leitch (John Wick, Deadpool 2).
Co-Written by Dana Fox (Co-Writer of Cruella) and Oren Urzel (22 Jump Street, Mortal Kombat), and directed by brothers Aaron and Adam Nee (Band of Robbers), The Secret of the Lost City will be released on March 23, 2022 in theaters.
