The Ghostbusters team is back in the latest Ghostbusters: Legacy trailer

“My grandfather was a ghost hunter!”

Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd do not show their faces yet. But we have never been so close to the comeback of the historic team of Ghostbusters. Since the start of the promotional campaign of Ghostbusters: the legacy, they refuse to show us Dr. Peter Venkman, Dr. Raymond Stantz or Dr. Winston Zeddmore. However, we know that the three of them will be present in the film. Of course, they will obviously not have a central role, but the final trailer – unveiled by Sony Pictures today – finally puts them forward!

We first see little Phoebe (played by Mckenna Grace) calling old Ray, to tell him about what happened in New York in the 1980s. Then we hear him confirm that she is okay. the granddaughter of a ghost hunter, most likely of the late Dr. Egon Spengler (actor Harold Ramis died in 2014). And so her grandmother would be the former secretary Janine (Annie Potts). Finally, we see in an image the two former Ghosbusters (certainly Peter Venkman and Raymond Stantz) in their period outfit, plasma rifle in hand, ready to cross the scent one last time … “These guys haven’t caught ghosts for over 30 years! “ asks Paul Rudd in the video.

So will they be rusty or still good for the service? Ghostbusters: The Legacy will be released on December 1 in theaters in France. Directed by Jason Reitman and Gil Kenan, we will find in the cast Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Mckenna Grace and Finn Wolfhard.
