Three years after the short film Beautiful Loser, nominated for the César, the duo François Créton-Maxime Roy continues this story of a former junkie who again becomes a father in his fifties with The Heroics. This film, Roy’s feature debut, was screened at the last Cannes Film Festival as a special screening, where the performance of Créton, until now best known for his career in dubbing, had impressed the editorial staff of Première.
François Créton therefore takes over the role of Michel, a biker marked by life and immature who hangs out with his grand son Léo (Romain Créton) and his friends. He finds himself having to deal with the baby he just had with his ex, Hélène (Clotilde Courau), in addition to his dying father (Richard Bohringer). The movie trailer The Heroics :
