The sequel to the Disney+ series will see Christopher Lloyd arrive in the Star Wars saga.

The Mandalorian appeared during the last three episodes of the Boba Fett book, then it will return before the end of the year on Disney+ for its third season. We don’t know much about the script, except that Grogu and Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) will continue their adventures there. Filming had been announced for the spring, then the summer of 2021, and it finally started in october, once post-production on Boba Fett was well underway. Since then, the team responsible for its creation has kept its content secret: we only learned that the star player of Back to the future, Christopher Lloyd, had been hired for a secret role in the series. We now discover by a message from Carl Weathers that the filming of season 3 is complete. The actor promises on twitter that this sequel will be “a wonder”.

It remains to be seen when this season 3 will be broadcast precisely. The next series Star Wars to be uploaded on the streaming platform will be Obi-Wan Kenobi, starring Ewan McGregor. This will start on May 25, right to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the release of the very first part, A new hope, At the movie theater. Here is its trailer:
