Ryan Coogler, director of the Black Panther films, will executive produce the series, which will be a direct sequel to Wakanda Forever.
While Moon Knight continues every Wednesday, on Disney Plus, the future of the MCU is being prepared on the streaming platform. And the future is called Riri Williams! The young woman, destined to become the next “Iron Woman” of the Marvel Universe, will be introduced in Black Panther 2at the end of the year, before being entitled to its own series.
She will be called iron heart and Ryan Coogler will serve as executive producer. But the director of Black Panther won’t be running the show. It is to Samantha Bailey and Angela Barnes that Disney entrusted the staging of the future series written by Chinaka Hodge (Snowpiercer).

Director of Teenage Bounty Hunters and As the days go by for Netflix, Barnes will therefore share the direction of the episodes with Bailey, who has signed episodes of committed series like Dear White People, Grown-ish or The Chi.
Remember that Riri Williams will be played by Dominique Thorne. She is described as “a brilliant teenager who, in the comics, built her own version of the Iron Man suit in an MIT dorm”. In the comics, she sometimes succeeds Tony Stark in the armor… That says it all!
