From its full title Evangelion: 3.0 + 1.01 Thrice Upon a Time, this fourth feature film in the animated saga will be streamed this summer on Prime Video.
Almost ten years later Evangelion 3.0: You Can [not] Redo, the Japanese animation saga will be back this summer. It will be on Amazon Prime Video, which announces in style the release, on August 13, of the fourth film, which will be officially titled Evangelion: 3.0 + 1.01 Thrice Upon a Time.
In this fourth and final opus ofEvangelion, the WILLE landed in Paris, a city destroyed by a nuclear disaster. The crew of the Wunder starship land on a containment tower and have only 720 seconds to rebuild the city. When a horde of Nerv Evas appears, Mari’s Unit 8 Eva must intercept them. For their part, Shinji, Asuka and Rei continue to roam Japan.
Evangelion: Thrice Upon a Time, directed by Kazuya Tsurumaki, Katsuichi Nakayama and Mahiro Maeda, as well as creator writer and director Hideaki Anno (Godzilla: Resurgence), was a hit when it was released in Japan at the beginning of the year at the cinema, at the top of the Box Office for 5 weeks.
