Like the Cannes film festival, the 2021 Venice Film Festival has been maintained despite the global Covid-19 epidemic. This 78th edition of the famous festival will be held from September 1 to 11. Its organizers have just unveiled its particularly attractive selection. This year is director Bong Joon-ho (Parasite) who will chair the jury and will be responsible for awarding the Golden Lion to the best film of the competition. Its jury will notably be composed of Virginie Efira and Chloé Zhao, the big winner of the last edition thanks to Nomadland.
